Our services are for dentists and dental clinicians throughout the UK. St Albans Dental Laboratory have been Medical Device Directive registered for many years. One of its many requirements is a policy of checks. We interpreted this to mean that all work is checked at each and every stage of production and this has resulted in an even higher level of consistency in the production of crown and bridge work.
Alongside the ongoing sequence of checks we also carry out a final inspection where the following are verified:
1. The Model corresponds to the work ticket.
2. The specifications have been met as requested.
3. The prosthesis fits the model.
4. The shade is correct.
5. The contact points are appropriate.
6. The occlusion is correct.
7. The aesthetics meet our requirements.
8. The glaze is satisfactory.
9. Work will be returned, before, or at the latest, on the day required.
